Road Rules 2003 (in search of God?)

Maybe you have heard of or even seen the MTV show Road Rules, well we doing our own version this spring for middle school students in grades 7th and 8th. What's the point? Well, it will be an opportunity for students to have fun on a memorable trip while growing closer to God.

Our purpose is to help students become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ and we are always thinking of new and inventive ways to help students dive deeper into their relationships with Jesus. So, this year we want to start a tradition for 7th and 8th grade students giving them the opportunity to take this memorable and exciting trip in search of God. This Road Rules trip will allow students an opporunity to be challenged physically, mentally, and maybe emotionally as we search for God all over Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The team planning Road Rules 2003 will develop a trip that will explore the great outdoors all while giving students the opportunity to learn more about God and explore what Jesus meant by "... I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Road Rules 2003 will include students from the Vineyard Churches of Milan, Ann Arbor, and Southside. We'll rent RV's and load them up with students and explore locales in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio trying to solve puzzles or other challenges. Each mission will students to learn something about God, provide quiet time, devotions, worship, outreach, bible study, and fun, load of fun! Students will assist with navigation, by solving puzzles to determine our next location.

More details about this event will posted in coming weeks. Call Donnell Wyche, the youth pastor at (734) 477-9135 x115 with your questions, concerns, or comments.
