World Vision's 30 Hour Famine is a worldwide event that allows you to do something to fight hunger in our world. When you -- along with a group of your friends -- go without food for 30 hours and raise money for world hunger, hungry children get to eat and live. That's what the 30 Hour Famine is all about. Between now and when the famine starts, you should collect donations from friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else you can think of who wants to provide food, medicine, and other necessities for needy kids around the world. Pick up the materials you'll need from the Youth Ministry. You should start fasting at 2:30pm on Friday, February 22nd, and come to the Vineyard in Ann Arbor at 7:00pm to spend the last 25 and 1/2 hours together with other students for support, fun, learning, and God stuff. We'll drink a lot. We will meet at Ann Arbor Vineyard Church location at 2275 Platt Road at 7pm on Friday and end the Famine together at 8:30pm on Saturday night, and go home afterwards. (Parents should pick students up by 9:15pm)
